Solid start for 1st team

The 1st team got off to a good start with a comfortable win over Vernon Carus in their
first game in the Northern League.
A good all round bowling performance and a cracking 67 from Wendy Brown helped to seal the win.

Our captains were elected for the new season at the AGM, and are unchanged,

1st team Captain - Sue Haley
Vice Captain - Kirstin Smith

2nd team Captain - Charlotte Preston
Vice Captain - Charlie Ryman

Golden Brown

Wendy Brown fell just 1 run short of consecutive 50s in Bradford's back to back wins against Beverley
and Leeds New Farnley.
Two good all round team bowling displays have also helped move the 1st team up to mid table
after a poor start to the season.
With the team now back up to full strength Bradford are looking forward to building on their
winning form.

Losing streak ends

The 2nd team celebrated the first win of the season with a good all round performance against Anston.
Charlotte Preston notched up an unbeaten 50 and Kimberley Worthington made a quick fire 31 to seal the win.
